Born in Jacksonville FL, he grew up in Ft. Lauderdale. He enjoyed trips to Disney World, Everglades National Park, vacationing in the Smoky Mountains, and visiting friends in South Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Betty Harris.
Jim is survived by his wife Christina Harris; Brother Nat (Terry); nephew Michael; niece Christina Steinke; and cousins Franklin and Jeff Foster.
He is greatly missed by all at Country Oaks VFD.

Quail Hollow -- North and South Quail Hollow -- Goshen Creek
Tumble Creek -- Buckhorn Creek -- High View
and surrounding areas covering a 25-square miles of fire service.

We believe in giving back to the community and are committed to providing education and outreach programs. We offer safety education, CPR classes, youth activities, and more to help keep our community and our neighbors safe.

We strive each and every day to improve our services and knowledge, no matter what it takes.
